Bacolod City is witnessing some lovely scenes, as the MassKara Festival is at its peak right now. Everyone in the Bacolod City is enjoying the festivity and buzz of this festival.
The highly anticipated beauty competition of MassKara Queen 2017 has been held successfully during the coronation night at L’Fisher Hotel in the Bacolod City.
MassKara Queen 2017:
The student of the University of St. La Salle Fercy Lyn Almaiz declared as the winner of the MassKara Queen competition. The 19-year old Almaiz has beaten the nine other beautiful girls in the competition to become the queen of MassKara Festival.
Not only that but also She beat everyone all ends up in the Swim Suit competition and the best in the festival costume contest. It means that she has done a pretty good job in the MassKara Queen 2017.
MassKara Queen Runner-up:
University of Negros Occidental Recoletos Claire Therese Porras has been declared as the first runner-up Of the MassKara Festival Queen 2017. Claire, 21, is a student of Tourism Management in the UNOR, and it’s her first ever competition. So basically she hasn’t done badly at all by any means.
The teenager Vina Marie Peña bagged the second runner-up title in the competition. She is a student of Bacolod City College currently studying the Junior Office Administration. Vina Marie also claimed the title of Miss Penasiatic and also grabbed the Best in Gown award.
Turning Point of MassKara Queen 2017:
Along with many other reasons, the significant point that made the Almaiz, MassKara Queen is the answer of the question:
“What is the importance of beauty pageants in today’s world?”
She replied that”Beauty pageant is still very much significant in today’s world because aside from the beauty we celebrate now, we celebrate women as advocates for their own cause
That’s the point, where judges have to bend towards her where other participants failed to answer properly.
